You can register by calling the practice. In our initial contact (over the telephone) we will try and establish whether an intake with me is the right step for you.

I do not work with waiting lists. Please contact me to inquire after availability.

Please note: I am currently not taking on new patients, as I am preparing for retirement.
If you want your treatment to be (partially) reimbursed by your insurance you will need to ask your GP for a referral letter for specialized mental health care, prior to the intake.
​
During the intake I will ask you about your complaints, your life history, your character, and your goals, wishes and expectations of treatment.
If we agree on working together, we will plan a meeting in which we will discuss your diagnosis and we set up a treatment plan.
There is no waiting time between intake and the start and treatment

Costs and reimbursement
In the Netherlands, psychotherapy is registered as S-GGZ (Specialized Mental Health Care) under the Healthcare Act. To be eligible for reimbursement there needs to be a diagnosis according to the DSM-V, which has been allotted to the basic package by the Dutch Care Institute (Zorg Instituut Nederland / ZIN).

The costing will be per session folowing the yearly guidelines of the
Dutch Care authority (NZa). Pricing is higher for intakes than for treatment sessions. Please keep in mind that the amount for the 'eigen risico' will have to be payed out of your pocket.

Sessions will be billed directly to your insurance by my administrator.
The cost of your treatment will be fully reimbursed when you are insured with one of the above mentioned insurance companies. If your insurance is with a company I have no contract with, you will be reimbursed around 75% of the market rate (depending on your insurer). The remaining part you will be expected to pay out of pocket. ​​​

​If there is no diagnosis which was allotted to the basic package by ZIN, or if you choose to pay privately for therapy, the prices in 2025 will be €125,- for a 45 to 60 minute session. In this case no referral is needed.

No-show
When sessions are cancelled within less than 24 hours before starting you will be charged no-show fee of €85,-. This includes cases of force majeure.
